Well its a bit of both. The purpose of this website is to be able to display the image I shoot during my journey through North America. Because there are almost always a story behind a picture I used the well know weblog format to explain a bit more about the conditions and surroundings of the pictures shown in the gallery. To make it even closer to life I hooked the pictures up to a map so you can see the travel progress visually. But most of all, this site is a testbed for online portfolio development.
Now you know what this website is about you might think: 'Who is this guy?' .. Well lets help you out a bit. I am Gerben, a dutch IT student with a passion for photography. I am slowly building up a decent kit that will help me capture moments exactly as I want to.
